Summer weekend worship at CUMC..


We continue to celebrate during all of our 5 weekend services...the joy of the loving God in our midst during our summer worship.

This weekend we will share around "The Moment of Grief"





We have all had it happen..


that news of a special person who has passed away..


Maybe it was at an older age...maybe the shock of sudden illness or tragedy..





It does not matter what the circumstance.


When the moment of Grief comes to us...we are challenged to turn to God for strength and help.

You and I are called to peacemakers..


Jesus said happy are the peacemakers...those who bring peace...





We are called to have the peace of Christ in our hearts and to share that peace with the world.

I will be away at Camp Jumonville for Family Week...


A year and a half ago I was honored to be asked to share as the main speaker for Family Week at Jumonville.


I will be sharing in the Sunday Morning Worship...


I will speaking at the daily adult classes


I will be sharing the message at the Tuesday night CampFire


I will be ending the week with the Communion Service..





While I am away..


We will be blessed to have Rev. Keith Staneart and Director of Youth Ministry Steve Atwater sharing the weekend messages..





I will be back next weekend July 30th and 31st..

Summer is a great time to experience the special moments that God places in our lives.


We often think that God goes on vacation...NOT!!!!!!


God uses the summer to give us some great opportunities.





This weekend I will be sharing with you during worship the message:


"Seizing the Moments: Making the most of life's opportunties: The Moments of Trust"





I will be using the Biblical story of Moses when he and the people of Israel were caught between the Pharoh's powerful pursuing army and the deep Red Sea...





God called Moses to GO ....and I will be with you?





Do you think Moses had his doubts?


Do you and I ever have doubts when we hear God calling us to Go..to do..





We will be talking about Trust..


Moses was example of seizing the moments of the opportunities that God had given him.


Now it was a matter of TRUST...





It is a matter of TRUST for you and I..
