This weekend we celebrate...Christmas is a Time For Salvation..





The angels said that a SAVIOR would be born..





We need a Savior..





We live in a day and time when we think we can do it all..


We have the resources and we feel that we don't need a savior.





This weekend we will recognize that God sent Jesus to be our Savior..





To save us..


from our sins..


from ourselves.


from our bad attitudes


from the wrong direction of our lives





so come and celebrate the Purpose of Christmas..

We will be thinking over the next four weeks of Advent ...

What is the Purpose of Christmas..

We live in a day and age that most people have no idea what the real meaning..the purpose of Christmas is...

So we will be looing at the Purpose..


We begin on this first Weekend of Advent...with...

Advent I Message: "Why is Christmas Such A Big Deal"





It is hard to believe that we have just had our turkey and we turn the corner and begin this exciting season of Advent..


Advent comes from the word...."coming"


We are celebrating the first Advent when Jesus came and we are celebrating the 2nd Advent when Chrit will come. So in a practical and spiritual way...we are in the in between time..





As we celebrate Advent this year we will be looking at the Purpose of Christmas..This first week we will be lighting the first candle...the candle of Hope...





Advent is a spritual season of reflecting upon the real reason for this season..





I hope that you will spiritually prepare for the graat celebration of Christmas..
