LENT II WEEKEND WORSHIP...

LENT II WEEKEND WORSHIP....FEBRUARY 23AND 24TH

GIVING IT UP....THIS WEEKEND GIVING UP EXPECTATIONS.......

I will be leading all 5 weekend Lent II services as we look to the Story of Nicodemus 
I think of him coming at night so I refer to the story as Nick At Night"

We will be looking to give up some of expectations that are placed on us and seek the true meaning of what it means to come to Christ and receive new life.

During this Lenten season we are all asked to ponder what it means to be born from above...receiving the gift of grace that only can come from Christ. Nicodemus went to visit Jesus at night...pondering so many questions about this Jesus and his teachings. Nicodemus went to discuss the expectations that he was trying live up to in his order of religion. Jesus told him to give it up and let God bring new life to him....

This weekend we will be asking ourselves to do the same...Give Up Our Expectations...
