COMMITMENT WEEKEND....NOV. 12TH 7 13TH..

All the church talks about is money and commitment!!!!!!!!!!!!!









If you have ever said this...I am sorry but I am not trying to sound judmental just scriptural.....then you are looking for excuses and a way out.









When you and I live in a day and age when 8 out of 10 people are not connected to a God or a faith community, we need to step up our commitment .









AN OLD SAYING..




Put your money where your mouth is!!!!!!!!!









Or




Put up or shut up!!!!!!!!









Now that sound pretty strong..




but we are called by our Christ to step up and be the believers in action.









This weekend we make no bones about it.




We are celebrating Commitment Weekend..









We need to go deeper into our commitment to Jesus Christ and his Church...




1. prayers




2. presence




3. gifts




4. service




5. witness..









According to the gospel, you and I are the living and loving body of Christ.




We need to get committed...we need to get grounded..




We need to be bold...









so I pray that this weekend..




some commitments take place...









I know the people who are saying..




all the church wants is our.....................go ahead fill in the blanks.









It is really all Jesus Christ wantsis our Hearts..




If he has our hearts...all the rest will take place..
