WEEKEND WORSHIP....JUNE 1ST AND JUNE 2ND..
CELEBRATING HOLY COMMUNION AND GRADUATION SUNDAY

We will be celebrating Holy Communion at all of our 5 weekend worship services. We invite you to come and receive this holy sacrament in this special season of Pentecost. As we gather as the community of believers may we remember the love of our Lord in his death and resurrection. We will also be Celebrating Graduation Sunday as we honor our graduates during the 11am service. What a special time for the graduates and families.  I will be leading the Contemporary Service on Saturday and the Traditional Services on Sunday Morning. We begin a new message series for June: The Ministry's Core..this weekend: Feeding:Our Calling to teach the nations and feed Jesus' sheep.
We invite you to come and celebrate with us this weekend as we continue to be led by the Holy Spirit in this great season of Pentecost.

This weekend we will be Celebrating Memorial Day weekend during all of our 5 weekend worship Services. We will be led by the Military Support Team for a time of remembrance. I will be leading all the traditional and contemporary services this weekend.  I will be sharing in the message in the sermon series: "The Purpose of the Church: this weekend:" Bringing In a Crowd: How Jesus Reached People"

What an exciting weekend of worship as we gather to celebrate Pentecost the birthday of the CHURCH> I am always amazed at the story of the Holy Spirit that came down on the followers of Jesus to empower them to transform the world.
This weekend we will be asking that same power to come to us to enable us to be the Chippewa UMC to transform  the world for Jesus Christ.
We will also be sharing during the 11am service in the confirmation of young people who will be confirming their faith in Jesus Christ.
I will be leading the Traditional worship this weekend sharing the message: The Purpose of the Church: Reaching Out To the Community.
Come and wear red the color of Pentecost and let us have a party for the CHURCH!!!!

 What a special weekend coming up....the celebration of Mother's Day and the Festival of the Christian Home....
We will be remembering those mothers who are no longer with us.....we will be honoring those mothers who are alive and with us sharing some special love. We will be recognizing mothers and women with a special gift from the United Methodist Men.

I will be leading the Contemporary worship services this weekend and Pastor Erik will be leading the Traditional services. We will be sharing the message: The Purpose of the Church....Becoming a Purpose-Driven Church.....
