    Celebrating Epiphany IV and Boy Scout Sunday...

What a great weekend of worship as we share in the journey of Epiphany and celebrate the 5th weekend of Epiphany.  This is a great season that shares the Light of Jesus Christ that came to all.

We also share in the celebration of Boy Scout Sunday. Our Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will be honored during our Sunday Morning 8;30am worship as they are recognized and share in the beginning part of worship. We are so appreciative of the scouting program that is sponsored by our church. Not only does our church provide a space and place for our scouts but they in tern share in the ministry of CUMC.

I will be leading Traditional Worship this weekend sharing the message: Epiphany Hope: Hope Beyond Temptation. I will be using for my object lesson   Oreo Cookies......if they are in my house they will be eaten....

We continue to journey in the awesome season of Epiphany. Epiphany reminds us that the darkness that we travel in will not take us....will not consume us....WHY???  We have the light of Jesus Christ to shine in and through us.

Epiphany is a time to celebrate the light of Christ that came to all to guide us and move us into this new year through all the darkness of life.

This weekend on Epiphany III I will be leading the traditional worship and Pastor Erik will be leading the contemporary worship.  We have begun a series: Epiphany Hope....This weekend we will be sharing "Hope Beyond Suffering"

So many people suffering: physcial, emotional, and spiritual.

Our worship this weekend will be centered around the Hope in Jesus Christ that comes to us durin out times of suffering.

Bring your suffering to worship and let God speak to it...

We begin a special journey in this season of Epiphany with a special series: EPIPHANY HOPE..
This weekend I will be sharing in the contemporary services and Pastor Erik will be leading the Traditional Services. We will be  sharing the message: EPIPHANY HOPE: Hope beyond Failure"

We have all had those moments of failure...where does our hope? How can we rebound from the depths of despair?

This is the season of Epiphany which shares the great message that Jesus Christ came to all people.

We celebrate the light of Christ that shines in the midst of darkness..

What a special weekend as we move on in this great season of Epiphany and the celebration of the baptism of our Lord...

I will be leading all 5 services this weekend and look forward to sharing with you the special news of what God has said to us through the baptism  of Jesus and what God has said to us in our baptism.

I will be sharing the message; "A Voice From Heaven"

We will be sharing a time of reaffirming out baptism and what God did and said at our baptism.

I am so excited about this weekend...I will be leading all 5 Services as we share in the great celebration of Epiphan ..We also will be sharing in Holy Communion. What an awesome way to begin this New Year..

Also I am excited to be sharing with you a very different message this weekend..

In fact...thanks to the creative work of Nick Trush I will be preaching from an Eagle's Nest...
Yes..that is right an Eagle's nest in the sanctuary and in the CLC...
