Paul in his letter to the Glations said that noboy has to wonder who I am...Nobody has to ask what I stand for...Nobody to ask what I stand for...Nobody needs to question my commitment to Christ and his church..because I have the marks of Jesus branded on my body..

One of the major problems in my life....worrying....sometimes I worrry about small things..

things that are not important...sometimes I worry about BIG THINGS...ministry, the church, people I love...

God's can help us turn around from Silly Frettnig to Creative Worrying.

I have been thinking more and more creative in my worrying and putting that into prayer.

Some times we find ourselves on the road of Fretfulness..


We fret...we worry...we get scared...we are afraid to take steps of faith let alone leaps of faith..l


We need to turn around..





The story of Petecost is one that we need to revisit this weekend.


It is about a group of church people who are afraid...they are afraid to take the steps..





Then the gift of the Holy Spirit falls upon them.


God's GPS is there to guide them..


They now turn around and begin living to face the future with steady eyes and hopeful hearts.

We continue to exaimine those roads that we are traveling on that are the wrong way.

Sometimes we know we are going the wrong way...sometimes we are surprised...

We need to turn around...

This weekend I will be sharing the message around the call of Jesus when he teaches:

"if you right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away..

if your right hand causes you to sin cut it off...

This is kind of scary and it is when you realize that Jesus is speaking symbolically it still does not take us off the hook when we are going down the wrong road..

Jesus is calling us to a discover of a deep truth...if you have something in your life right now that is destructive, then cut it out and throw it away...get rid of it before it destroys you..



So this weekend..

I will be sharing some things that we might considwer to do well to cut out of our lives and throw away...

I have noticed that many times in our lives we get gong the wrong way...


Some don't even notice until it is too late..


We will be looking together about the possibilities of those times we have or are on the wrong road..


God gives us a chance to turn around!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From Talking about the Cross to Taking Up the CROSS!!!!

We spend alot of time TALKING...about taking up the cross...

Maybe we do not realize that we are going down the wrong road with all talk..

Jesus talked about picking up the cross...taking up the cross..

We need to TURN AROUND...and take up the cross..

This is what I will be sharing this weekend during our weekend worship services..

I for one have been doing alot of talking...I need to be taking...

Not talking about the c ross.... but taking the cross up
