The world says that Easter is over....

We in the church have just begun to celebrate the resurrection power of our Lord...

We continue in this seaso of Eastertide which is a reminder of the many times that Jesus continued to come to those in his resurrection power....

We continue in this Easter season thinking of the 11 indispensibale relationships that we cannot be without 7 days a week..

WEDNESDAY---MARCH 31ST...."What Is Passover?" 6-7:30pm Ages K-5th grade

Children will participate in a learning center created to replicate The Last Supper

A light meal will be served....representative of the Passover....Pastor Rod will lead communion. All Children are invited....register in the Welcome Center or call Susan Winters, Childrens Ministry Director...



THURSDAY....APRIL 1ST....MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICES...

11AM & 7:30PM.... Maundy Thursday Communion services in the sanctuary. The youth Choir will share special music. Everyone will be escorted to room symbolizing the upper room for a time of holy communion. Pastor Rod sharing messages: "Towel & Basin"....."Love One Another" This service will be a time of remembrance of our Lord gathering with his disciples in the upper room for the Last Supper..All invited....



FRIDAY, APRIL 2ND...GOOD FRIDAY...

12NOON Community Good Friday Service ---First Assembly of God on Darlington Road in

Patterson Township sponsored by the Blackhawk ministerium .



7:30pm Tenebrae Worship..."The Nails Of the Cross" This dynamic and moving service will be held in the sanctuary with the Adult Chancel Choir sharing special music. All worshippers will receive a nail upon entering the sanctuar for this moving service. The ending of the service will leave all worshippers in time of reverent silence.. All invited..



SATURDAY, APRIL 3RD...HOLY SATURDAY.. The Night Before...The Easter Eve Celebration

5:30pm Saturday Nite Lite

6:14pm Crossroads 6:14...

We will be sharing in the Easter Eve Cel bration and invite those who cannot come on Easter Sunday to gather on Saturday night to share in the Easter Celebration.

WELCOMMING CHRISTIAN COMEDIANS......DAVE & DWAYNE.....



We are blessed to have with us for the entire weekend Dave & Dwayne who bring to us the joy of laugher and the message of the gospel in a very unique way....

Dave O'Roak grew up in our church and area....he is coming back to our area with a wisdom of drama and the talents that God has given him. He majored in theater at Huntington University in IN and spent two summer touring the nation with Doc Rainbow's Colorful All Star Revue. He now teaches at Worthing Christian HS and is the Director of Drama the Grace Bretheren Church at Polaris Ohio. Dave has a beautiful wife, two sons and a daughter. His parents reside in Chippewa Township. Dwayne Smith has performed in various venues from the Drama Hosanna Conferences to Billy Grahaam Crusades to Bill Gaither Praise Gatherings. Dayane resides in Columbus Ohi and with his preciou7s wife and four sons.



We are excited about Dave and Dwayne being here all weekend.

They will be sharing in the message for the weekend worship services:

8:30am Early Morning

9;45am AM Joy Contemporary

11am Late Morning



Then they will be featured at the Coffee House Cabaret on Sunday eveing 7pm. Ticket for the show are $10. There will be a time of desert in the fellowship hall for a donation sponsored by the Confirmation class. Tickets are on sale pre-sale by calling the church office and will be available at the door.



What a weekend of joy that God has in store for us..
